MEDINAH – With play suspended in the second round of the Illini Invitational due to inclement weather, Oklahoma women’s golf team is tied for sixth at the Medinah Country Club.
The second round will resume Tuesday at 8:30 a.m., with the third round starting immediately following the conclusion of the second round. Pairings will remain the same to allow for continuous play.
“We played steady during round one,” said Oklahoma head women’s golf coach Veronique Drouin-Luttrell. “I’m proud of our players for fighting during the second round. Conditions were tough but we handled adversity very well. We have a lot of golf left and ust continue to play one shot at a time.”
OU finds itself tied with Louisville and Kent State at sixth (-2), while Georgia leads the field.
